Fairfield Inn Kalamazoo West

Decent hotel, easy to get to, right off I94 in Kalamazoo. Has a snack area for purchase and breakfast in the morning.

We came from Ohio for a Notre Dame game, but avoided South Bend because rooms were $800+ and we weren’t ready to spend that kind of money on a room. This hotel was right off the highway! The parking lot was well lit, and felt very safe. While checking in, the host was very accommodating, and went out of his way to explain all the perks (breakfast, pool, gym, free breakfast). The room was very clean! Everything was in order, beds were comfortable, the TV was a smart TV, so we were able to log into Netflix. My only gripe was the curtains didn’t block any light..and there was a large commerical lamp right outside our window. Also there wasn’t a bathtub but I think that’s my fault for not checking into the room fully before arriving. The breakfast was great! Everything was fresh and tasted great. Waffle iron, oats, cereal, apples, toast, bagels, eggs, turkey sausage..pretty great selection. Check out was easy. Book with confidence!

Pam was amazing! we stayed here for a wedding in town. She was such a delight to talk with and super helpful on directions to the venue. I would stay here again just because of Pam.

Fine service, room, breakfast, and exercise room, in a clean and safe environment. Small elevator and tiny bathroom sink, but overall an excellent hotel for a good price. We will stay here again in the future. Kaydee’s front desk demeanor was kind and professional.

We had the best experience. Rooms were clean. Check in was easy. Beds comfortable. But hands down the best part was Pam at the front desk. She was amazing to our hockey group all weekend! 10/10 recommend!

I was on the third floor and had to move to the first floor on my last day there due to a nurse needing sleep. Which I had no problem doing being a marine vet I understand how hard both job can be and we want nothing more than to serve our country by helping people. So I hope the nurse sees this and know that I apologize for my kids loudness and hope you have gotten enough rest. Staff has been amazing on making sure our stay there for the holidays was comfortable and kept our rooms clean. Location was the perfect middle point to be able to see family and enjoy any entertainment without killing gas. May need to change the breakfast menu a bit but otherwise had a great stay and cant wait to come back again.

We saw but didn't experience the pool and workout room. Both looked clean and well organized. We were very impressed with our room. It was clean and comfortable. We liked the layout too. Our big plusses were the desk on wheels, the microwave and nice sized refrigerator. The breakfast also offered lots of delicious options including oatmeal,waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage patty for hot foods. There were bread options and several toppings plus 1%, 2% and oatmilk for dairy choices. My only negative was that as we tried to check out nobody was available. We fianlly gave up but we had hoped to get a receipt copy and had a question regarding an item we misplaced. Otherwise the people we encountered were friendly and helpful.
